Everyday more and more videos and performances by Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and other performers have had subliminal and direct Illuminati symbolism. I rarely watch cable television at all and have very little connection with modern music these days, but I have seen these performers mainly through videos catching all of the symbolism. I can't help but think of all of the huge numbers of views that the truth movement generates for You Tube through Vevo. To me it seems like something more direct and overt.
Part of it may be the Illuminati but a lot of you are missing the marketing angle. Their paycheck depends on viewers so the artists who figure out what the directors are doing will also parrot the directors. Truthers will point them out and those who remain sheep will have the video brought to them. It is covert marketing at its finest.
The bigger names like Madonna have been in on it since the 80's with the increase of symbolism like the pyramid and also including satanic and fetishistic themes. Some don't know what they are doing, some figure it out and copy it, some want to promote its agenda. We realistically have three different groups here. Now in modern music it's hard to find a video that is symbolically clean.
I remember being a kid drawn to all of the weird things on television. This symbolic weirdness serves two distinct purposes. The mystery behind the symbolism is attractive to those unenlightened curious souls, and is the very thing that created initiates into the mystery schools in the first place. The sinister aspect beyond using it as a marketing tool is that every video or performance with this type of symbolism becomes a sort of ritual or attempt at subliminal information or mind control.
The whole point of it is that sadly, it works. For some reason in this day and age Christian symbolism or other religious depictions do not seem to carry the same attractive pull to the viewer. I can only look at this recent phenomenon as the logical progression of satanic and pagan themes already embedded in our culture. I think it would be interesting to have someone find satanic symbolism in older programs from the 50's like I love Lucy (I love Lucifer?)
If you can find evidence of this in older entertainment such as 50's TV shows, 1940's cartoons, or earlier silent movie examples I want it to be on the video for the topic for my next piece. This will be my experiment using fair use clips and images. The script for April has been written and I will be filming soon. Bonus points if you can tell me what movie the picture is from.

I'd have to agree with you that the paganism symbolism is just smeared in your face more and more in modern entertainment. You can find it in older movies, but it's 1,000X more subtle and mixed with christian symbolism. In Snow White, the queen wore a witch robe, stood in the magic mirror, offered Snow White an apple while one eye was shut, etc. But the queen/witch was bad and no viewer would've wanted to be her. Then Snow White dies for like 3 days, gets resurrected and carried off by her prince (Jesus?) to the castle floating in the sky (heaven). In the old days, the idea was to overcome the witch after suffering through a trial period and go to heaven or go "home". Same with The Wizard of Oz where the characters had to overcome their weak chakra's (brain/heart) in order to break the power of the witch. Then they could go "home".
These days after you watch a Ke$ha video or Katy Perry Grammy's performance, you'll think the point is just to become the cool slut-witch, then die young and do it over again. Gotta say it's fascinating. Because what if you really did go to heaven or 'home' like in the old days; then what? LOL
It's all very confusing. Do the 'elite' want the sheep to be obedient christians, obedient new agers, Darwinian atheists, pagan whores, or a balanced percentage of each? Maybe the whole 'order' works best when the pagan stuff is presented in waves of intensity.
For an old movie example, I saw the Invisible Man recently. It was a funny allegory.

Now the balance is being overturned in a new direction, we are literally taught to strive for the things that are to our detriment. We need to be mindful and take responsibility for the information we seek because disinformation is the worst kind. Our symbolism has been twisted since around the 1960's. As much as I enjoyed the Addams Family, Casper the friendly ghost, The Munsters, and Sabrina the teenage Witch; The 1960's paved the way for this kind of symbolism to enter American homes. Even in the movie the Wizard of Oz the good witch had to appear more like a fairy princess in those days. This is in stark contrast to shows like Buffy the vampire slayer, Charmed or Supernatural. You have the lines blurred to the point where moral relativism takes hold and absolutes are thrown out the window. (Speaking of cool slut witches, I'm sure you knew that Rose McGowan once dated Marilyn Manson)
The shows of yesteryear painted with a broad brush but many of us see them for what they are because they used a more direct form of symbolism. Images in the silent era were shot on smaller films at a different frame rate than modern movies. When we made the leap to high resolution digital films we ended up with more pixel real estate to populate the images with esoteric symbolism.
We are at a time where everything is a market and the mystery school is no different. Sin, although to our detriment is still a market. If you can sell it it comes from mammon, or literally the material. Manna on the other hand is spiritual food, so you cant get it from anywhere but the heavens. The sheeple settle for a big gulp and a pack of hotdogs when it comes to nutrition in life and in the spiritual sense it makes sense why they are called sheep, dogs, and the dead.
In your 2nd to last paragraph you hit the nail on the head unintentionally. The elite are getting the result they want because of the very fact that it is confusing us! Keep searching the mystery schools because it keeps you busy with anything other than getting what they have which is power, money and control.
The order from it is by seeking the roots of it, which Bo Goren put very eloquently in his article about the first Illusion. When we all seek the occult we miss the science, but if we only search for the science we miss the spiritual. There is a harmony between science and nature and the elite know it but do not want that in the wrong hands or the arsenal of anyone else. If you could control nature with just a few keystrokes wouldn't you want to keep that to yourself?!?
There is paradigm that is not new that will be found by those who seek enlightenment, but it is far from the machinations of war, further still from commerce or gratification of the body. Spiritual wisdom tempered by scientific knowledge will become the salvation of the intellect. If we can just approach a mutual understanding of these higher concepts through critical thinking, and break through the conditioning and abuse of our psyche, the revolution will be won within us all. We will have truly saved ourselves.
