What is the spiritual purpose of labor?
The spiritual purpose of labor is to emulate the creator. I look to a farm as the great analogy. Man is the highest form of physical life on earth. As such man has dominion. His duty is to keep the cycle moving along by watching over and cultivating plants and animals while also using minerals to mold and create, to build. These were given to man to make use of and eat if needed. His compensation for this the labor and undertaking of responsibility. We were given the faculty of mind so that we would use it and grow. When the process of giving and regiving is balanced man would surely grow. Man wants to be like his creator, he wants to be like the sun and be an equal partner in the co-creative process.
Now look at the illuminati. They are performing the same function as djhives has shown. They are the sherperds of men. They must play farmer with men so as them not run wild and unbalance nature with his greed, indulgance, and lack of will. The illuminati take the responsibility and receive the energy from the cattle that the farmer receives from his harvest. It seems as though there must be infinite degrees in the cyclical journey where each successive higher level of being must uplift the lower.
Man today is defeated well because he is a slave. He is simply a cog in the machine. He only takes part in a specific part of the process and thus there is no cycle of giving and regiving for him to participate in. He is stagnant, has no energy, and thus is angry. He has chosen to repress the fact that he is a slave and thus will remained indefinitely enslaved. His pride is what keeps hiim in the shackles for he is too afraid to admit his position in the hierarchy.
Its all about the cycle of uplifting the lower to uplift yourself. Coming together to co-create reality. Keep nature balanced and maintained. Balance yourself within and you will be able to maintain balance in your environment. Be the shephard.

If discovery replaced manual labor as the leading pursuit of man wouldn't the grand purpose still be served?
With the right chemicals flooding the brain (or what i like to call the happy machine)couldn't we all be happy in any activity?If I am cooking burgers at Mcdonnells with a good hash or weed buzz I promise you I will be a happier man than the franchisor who is sitting in church listening to sum stoopid fuk telling him he is going to HELL cuz he fukked fur pleasure or cheated on his taxes.

The whole point of labor is to produce the desired result, so if survival and pleasure can be met by machine then why not let the robots fill that need. This then leaves us to more intelligent pursuits by default. The people who would get bored with eternal leisure would then rise up to take on the scientific discovery, just like the many I see here. There will always be useless eaters in any system, but what is the reason for any to labor and toil in a system that could support life many times over? Would a decrease in poverty and menial tasks lead to a devastating increase in resource depletion if the concept of property was no longer necessary or rendered as personal account preferences only? Parked caars and storage sheds are a good example. If everything was rented out and of superior quality what would be the need to keep it forever? The chains of labor are the chains of ownership, they are two sides of the coin, what is at once opposite is also the same. Freedom means freedom to not have to carry your burdens, freedom means not having to labor for what is already easy to obtain. The truest question is ,does man deserve utopia or a living hell for eternity?

Should we assume that Welles is right in his estimation of humans, or are we to then infer that the only obstacle for our paradise is our fear of it?
The purpose of labor is make you grow spiritually. I think many people cannot close their eyes and sit quiet in meditation. They need to learn hard way. Most people with few exceptions need to work to grow and evolve. Laziness doesn't serve any purpose.
I think that there is something missing here, what if discovery was in place of routine physical labor such as farming. Let the machine do the work so science could move forward.

The following is an Old Testament types of sacrifice which need to be fulfilled in New Testament times. Notice this is subliminal suggestion & wordplay meant to hypnotize.
Leviticus 27:28,29 – “…no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast … shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.
v.29 – None devoted … shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.”
It is clear the lord of the old testament demands both man & beast dedicated unto him to be surely put to death.
Today this is done systematically through such strategies as war, crime, the medical drug system, chemtrails, scientific advancements & so on. In other words, human sacrifice is fulfilled literally through the mind numbing doctrine of religion & academia. It is well hidden, but nonetheless it is human sacrifice.
The main course servings are dished up symbolically and literally (the record breaking natural disasters, the fabricated middle east wars, etc.). In 2008 things will really began to let loose.
Now, in 2009, with the election of Barack Obama, its as if a hurricane, a tidal wave, & a massive earthquake have struck the world in unison. The combination of the Financial Crisis, the Energy Crisis, the Environmental Green Movement Crisis, the Political Crisis’ around the world, not to mention war and disease, have reached a peak, ALL AT THE SAME MANIPULATIVE MOMENT. The World Trade Centre attack of September 11,2001 was just the appetizer leading up to the Great Feast.
